On Friday, April 4, former Saint Joseph Academy standout Maya Johnson’s current college team, the Belmont Bruins, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Evansville Purple Aces.

The game took place at Tri-State Orthopaedics Field at James & Dorothy Cooper Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Purple Aces this season.

The Bruins’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 2 p.m. at Tri-State Orthopaedics Field at James & Dorothy Cooper Stadium against Evansville Purple Aces.
