On Monday, Feb. 24, former St. Ignatius High School standout Bobby Lane’s current college team, the Toledo Rockets, won 5-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the High Point Panthers.
The game took place at Coy O. Williard Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Panthers this season.
The Rockets’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. at The Diamond against VCU Rams.
The week of Monday, March 2 will see these former City of Cleveland area high school standouts in action.
