On Saturday, March 22, former Saint Joseph Academy standout Maya Johnson’s current college team, the Belmont Bruins, won 3-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Illinois State Redbirds.

The game took place at Marian Kneer Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Redbirds this season.

The Bruins’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 5 p.m. at E.S. Rose Park against Southern Illinois Salukis.
