On Monday, Feb. 17, former St. Ignatius High School standout Sam Meyer’s current college team, the Saint Joseph’s Hawks, lost 12-9 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Washington Huskies.

The game took place at Springs Brooks Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Huskies this season.

The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. at E. T. Straw Family Stadium against Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers.
