Senator Jon Husted, a Republican representing Ohio in the U.S. Senate, recently posted a series of updates on his social media account highlighting military, educational, and economic developments related to his state.
On April 11, 2026, Husted wrote, “Ohio’s Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is home to work that keeps our country safe and free.”

On April 13, Husted turned attention to economic policy impacts in Ohio with a post that read: “The Working Families Tax Cuts Act is delivering real results for Ohio workers—putting money back in their pockets. In Cincinnati, small business employees are already seeing about $2,500 more take-home thanks to no tax on tips.”

He currently serves on Senate committees focusing on health, education, labor and pensions, small business and entrepreneurship, environment and public works, and aging (official website). His legislative platform has emphasized tax reductions and educational choice scholarships.
