Senator Jon Husted has highlighted legislative accomplishments and policy priorities in a series of recent posts on his social media account.

On March 10, 2026, Senator Husted wrote, “In one year, I’ve had three of my bills signed into law—delivering real results to make life easier and more affordable for Ohio families.”

The following day, March 11, 2026, he addressed his Upward Mobility Act in two separate posts. In the first post, Husted stated, “My Upward Mobility Act is the most important thing we can do for America’s lowest income earners to make life more affordable. They could work, earn more, and have more take home pay as they gradually reduce dependance on public assistance.” Later that same day, he added, “Ohioans deserve a chance to chase their version of the American dream. Federal assistance has become a federal trap. My Upward Mobility Act would allow Americans to accept pay raises and create a path to financial independence.”

Senator Jon Husted represents Ohio and has been active in advancing legislation aimed at economic mobility and reducing reliance on public assistance programs.
