Brooklyn home prices rise in February 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2017 in Brooklyn rose by $15,000 while total sales increased by 200%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2017, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $76,000 - a 24.6% increase over the $61,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Brooklyn in February 2016.

The median sales tax in Brooklyn for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,666, approximately 3.5% of the median home sale price for February 2017.
