Cleveland home prices rise in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in Cleveland rose by $5,583 while total sales increased by 36.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 1,464 homes sold, with a median sale price of $32,250 - a 20.9% increase over the $26,667 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,071 homes sold in Cleveland in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Cleveland for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,682, approximately 5.2% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2017.
