Cleveland home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Cleveland rose by $2,700 while total sales increased by 15.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 2,084 homes sold, with a median sale price of $42,600 - a 6.8% increase over the $39,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,801 homes sold in Cleveland in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Cleveland for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,682, approximately 3.9% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
