Cleveland home prices rise in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Cleveland rose by $10,200 while total sales increased by 18.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were 1,828 homes sold, with a median sale price of $35,950 - a 39.6% increase over the $25,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,542 homes sold in Cleveland in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Cleveland for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,682, approximately 4.7% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2017.
