Brooklyn home prices rise in October 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2019 in Brooklyn rose by $12,500 while total sales decreased by 36.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2019, there were 12 homes sold, with a median sale price of $109,000 - a 13% increase over the $96,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 19 homes sold in Brooklyn in October 2018.

The median sales tax in Brooklyn for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,666, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for October 2019.
