Brooklyn home prices fall in September 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2019 in Brooklyn fell by $9,000 while total sales decreased by 46.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2019, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $114,000 - a 7.3% decrease over the $123,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 13 homes sold in Brooklyn in September 2018.

The median sales tax in Brooklyn for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,666, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for September 2019.
