Brooklyn home prices rise in April 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2019 in Brooklyn rose by $17,000 while total sales decreased by 38.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2019, there were 13 homes sold, with a median sale price of $107,000 - a 18.9% increase over the $90,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 21 homes sold in Brooklyn in April 2018.

The median sales tax in Brooklyn for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,666, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for April 2019.
