Brooklyn home prices rise in October 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2018 in Brooklyn rose by $16,500 while total sales remained unchanged with 19 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2018, there were 19 homes sold, with a median sale price of $96,500 - a 20.6% increase over the $80,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 19 homes sold in Brooklyn in October 2017, as well.

The median sales tax in Brooklyn for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,666, approximately 2.8% of the median home sale price for October 2018.
