Brooklyn home prices rise in September 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2018 in Brooklyn rose by $25,600 while total sales decreased by 13.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2018, there were 13 homes sold, with a median sale price of $123,000 - a 26.3% increase over the $97,400 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 15 homes sold in Brooklyn in September 2017.

The median sales tax in Brooklyn for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,666, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for September 2018.
