Brooklyn home prices rise in July 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2018 in Brooklyn rose by $4,150 while total sales decreased by 55%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2018, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $104,900 - a 4.1% increase over the $100,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 20 homes sold in Brooklyn in July 2017.

The median sales tax in Brooklyn for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,666, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for July 2018.
