Brooklyn home prices fall in April 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2018 in Brooklyn fell by $10,000 while total sales increased by 133.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2018, there were 21 homes sold, with a median sale price of $90,000 - a 10% decrease over the $100,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Brooklyn in April 2017.

The median sales tax in Brooklyn for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,666, approximately 3% of the median home sale price for April 2018.
