Brooklyn home prices rise in December 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2017 in Brooklyn rose by $39,873 while total sales decreased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2017, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $87,400 - a 83.9% increase over the $47,528 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 12 homes sold in Brooklyn in December 2016.

The median sales tax in Brooklyn for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,666, approximately 3.1% of the median home sale price for December 2017.
