Brooklyn home prices fall in October 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2017 in Brooklyn fell by $11,000 while total sales increased by 46.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2017, there were 19 homes sold, with a median sale price of $80,000 - a 12.1% decrease over the $91,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 13 homes sold in Brooklyn in October 2016.

The median sales tax in Brooklyn for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,666, approximately 3.3% of the median home sale price for October 2017.
