Brooklyn home prices rise in September 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2017 in Brooklyn rose by $9,700 while total sales increased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2017, there were 15 homes sold, with a median sale price of $97,400 - a 11.1% increase over the $87,700 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Brooklyn in September 2016.

The median sales tax in Brooklyn for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,666, approximately 2.7% of the median home sale price for September 2017.
