Brooklyn home prices fall in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Brooklyn fell by $15,750 while total sales increased by 21.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were 17 homes sold, with a median sale price of $80,000 - a 16.4% decrease over the $95,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Brooklyn in August 2016.

The median sales tax in Brooklyn for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,666, approximately 3.3% of the median home sale price for August 2017.
