Brooklyn home prices rise in July 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2017 in Brooklyn rose by $10,750 while total sales increased by 122.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2017, there were 20 homes sold, with a median sale price of $100,750 - a 11.9% increase over the $90,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Brooklyn in July 2016.

The median sales tax in Brooklyn for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,666, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for July 2017.
