Cleveland home prices rise in 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in 2019 in Cleveland rose by $3,500 while total sales increased by 0.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2019, there were 7,007 homes sold, with a median sale price of $43,500 - a 8.8% increase over the $40,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 6,971 homes sold in Cleveland in 2018.

The median sales tax in Cleveland for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,682, approximately 3.9% of the median home sale price for 2019.
