Cleveland home prices rise in the second quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2020 in Cleveland rose by $7,400 while total sales decreased by 38.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2020, there were 1,276 homes sold, with a median sale price of $50,000 - a 17.4% increase over the $42,600 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 2,084 homes sold in Cleveland in the second quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Cleveland for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,416, approximately 2.8% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2020.
