73 percent of applicants to the Cleveland Institute of Art were admitted for fall 2018

At the Cleveland Institute of Art, 91 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 67 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Cleveland enrolled 670 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 5.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

62 percent of undergraduates are residents of Ohio, and 38 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (67 percent) and Black or African American (11 percent).

The school admitted 73 percent of the 1,025 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 23 percent enrolled.
