29 percent of applicants to Case Western Reserve University were admitted for fall 2018

At Case Western Reserve University, 98 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 55 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Cleveland enrolled 11,890 students in fall 2018, including 5,261 in undergraduate and 6,629 in graduate programs, data shows. 0.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

21 percent of undergraduates are residents of Ohio, and 66 percent are residents of other states. 13 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (47 percent) and Asian (21 percent).

The school admitted 29 percent of the 26,642 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 18 percent enrolled.
