Cost of college went up for all students at the Cleveland Institute of Art

Tuition and fees rose 3.4 percent for 2018-19 at the Cleveland Institute of Art, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Ohio students paid $42,055 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,400 more than the $40,655 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 160 students received grants or scholarships totaling $3.7 million and 130 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.3 million.

Including all undergraduates (670), 600 students used grants or scholarships totaling $13.4 million, and 478 students took out $3.6 million in federal student loans.
