The campaign committee of Republican Party candidate Michael Gibbons, Gibbons for Ohio, refunded $1,000 to Linda Spinner on July 12, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Earmarked contributions to political committees (other than Super PACs and Hybrid PACs) from an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Gibbons for Ohio has refunded $161,600 total since Feb. 1.
