Cleveland home prices rose in the second half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Cleveland rose by $20,550 while total sales decreased by 8.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 2,714 homes sold, with a median sale price of $77,500 - a 36.1% increase over the $56,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 2,980 homes sold in Cleveland in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Cleveland for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,416, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
