Cleveland home prices rose in 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in 2021 in Cleveland rose by $18,450 while total sales increased by 9.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2021, there were 5,950 homes sold, with a median sale price of $70,000 - a 35.8% increase over the $51,550 median sale price for the previous year. There were 5,418 homes sold in Cleveland in 2020.

The median sales tax in Cleveland for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,416, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for 2021.
