Cleveland median home prices rose by 21.4% in May

The median sale price of a home sold in May in Cleveland rose by $15,000 while total sales increased by 8.7 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May, there were 461 homes sold, with a median sale price of $85,000 - a 21.4 percent increase over the $70,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 424 homes sold in Cleveland in May 2021.

The median sales tax in Cleveland for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,416, approximately 1.7 percent of the median home sale price for May.
