“Creativity in Cities: Placemaking Powered by Art, Design and Innovation,” will be a thought-provoking panel discussion that explores the role of art and design in shaping cities like Cleveland through the lens of creative thinking, technology, cultural diversity and community engagement.

The panel discussion will take place from 6:30 to 7:30pm Thursday, September 22 and is part of the Inauguration Celebration for President + CEO Kathryn J. Heidemann.

This event is open to the public via Zoom.

It will be moderated by Lillian Kuri, Cleveland Foundation, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. The panelists will be Jennifer Coleman, The George Gund Foundation, Program Director for Creative Culture and Arts; Kathryn J. Heidemann, Cleveland Institute of Art, President + CEO; Tania Menesse, Cleveland Neighborhood Progress, CEO and President; and Charlie White, Carnegie Mellon University, Regina and Marlin Miller Head of School of Art.
