The Storm put up a fight in set three. The Arrows held onto a small lead for most of set three until Lake Erie tied it at 20-20. Four errors from UC and a kill by the Storm solidified Lake Erie's third set win, 20-25.

Set four saw more lead changes than set one with nine total with the score tied a total of fifteen times. Lake Erie exceled defensively with five total team blocks compared to Ursuline's three, but the Arrows had the edge on kills 15-10. While going into extra points, the Storm was able to stay in the game with a 26-28 win.
