The Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball team hosted Trine (Ind.) University in the first game of a men's and women's tripleheader in the Ursprung Gymnasium inside the Lou Higgins Center. The Yellow Jackets dropped a nailbiter to the Thunder by a final score of 62-60.

- Trailing 56-48 with 4:44 remaining, BW battled back with a 7-0 run to cut the deficit to one.
- After going down 61-57 with under a minute to play, an intentional foul against the Thunder gave BW a lifeline, and three points on the ensuing possession made it a 61-60 game with 13 seconds left.
- BW regained possession trailing 62-60 with 11 seconds left, but Mazzeo's potential game-tying jumper fell short at the buzzer.
- Price led all scorers with 14 second-half points.
