The Cleveland State track & field team will return to action this weekend, participating in the Mastodon Invitational hosted by Purdue Fort Wayne on Saturday, January 21.
Saturday's meet will be the fourth of a nine-meet indoor schedule for the Vikings this year. Field events are slated to start at 11:00 a.m. at the Mastodon Invitational, while running events will begin at 12:00 p.m.
Cleveland State will be one of 11 teams competing this weekend, including Horizon League opponents Detroit Mercy, Wright State and the host Mastodons.

Last time out, the Vikings recorded eight top-15 individual finishes at the Marshall Classic, including a pair of sixth place finishes from Karly Klaer in the Shot Put and Dynesty Ervin in the 400 Meter Dash. Klaer, along with Autumn Hejduk, Tara Will and Madeline Crissman made their Cleveland State track & field debuts last weekend.
This weekend's meet will be held at the Lutheran Health Fieldhouse on the campus of Purdue Fort Wayne – the same location that the 2023 #HLTF Indoor Championships will be held in February.
