On Tuesday, Feb. 25, former St. Ignatius High School standout Sam Meyer’s current college team, the Saint Joseph's Hawks, lost 12-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

The game took place at Bainton Field. This was their first matchup against the Scarlet Knights this season.

The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 12 p.m. at Eugene B. Depew Field against Bucknell Bison.
