Cleveland home prices rise in the second quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in Cleveland rose by $7,650 while total sales increased by 23%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were 1,801 homes sold, with a median sale price of $39,900 - a 23.7% increase over the $32,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,464 homes sold in Cleveland in the second quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Cleveland for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,682, approximately 4.2% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2018.
