West Park Animal Hospital issued the following announcement on Nov. 10.
Petey's hobbies include playing with small toys and tall scratching posts. It was an adjustment being in a shelter for this pretty 7 year old. There were allergies in the home and so she was surrendered along with her Mom. Petey's Mom was adopted and she had to get comfortable with people and a place she wasn't familiar with. She has come such a long way! Yes Petey is coming out of her shell and is such a loving girl. She will be such a wonderful companion for the hero's that adopt her. Petey asks for a home with no dogs please. Let's get her into a good home soon! No walk-ins at this time so please email adoptions@friendshipapl.org and say that you want to meet Petey. You will love her!
All cats receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed and spayed/neutered and feline leukemia tested. Kittens under a year old are $60 and cats over a year are only $25. All kittens/cats over 3 months old are also micro-chipped.
